What should I expect during my first session?

During your first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and understanding your concerns. This is a safe space for you to share your story at your own pace. We’ll discuss your goals for therapy and begin developing a treatment plan together.

The duration of therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy (8-12 sessions), while others may engage in longer-term work. We’ll regularly assess your progress together.

Yes! We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. Telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your own space.

Our regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We also offer appointment-only sessions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for those who need more flexible scheduling.

Sex Therapy

What is sex therapy?

Sex therapy is a specialized form of talk therapy that focuses on sexual concerns. It does NOT involve any physical contact or explicit activities. Instead, we use conversation to explore your concerns, understand root causes, and develop strategies for improvement.

Not at all! Sex therapy can help with a wide range of concerns including desire discrepancy, intimacy issues, sexual trauma, identity exploration, relationship dynamics, and simply wanting to enhance your sexual well-being.

No, you can attend sex therapy individually. While couples sessions can be beneficial for relationship-related concerns, many people work through sexual concerns individually. We’ll help you determine the best approach for your situation.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. What you share in session stays private, with limited exceptions required by law (such as imminent harm to self or others). We’ll discuss confidentiality fully during your first session.

Billing & Insurance

Do you accept insurance?

We accept some insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify whether your specific insurance is accepted. Note that couples or relationship therapy is typically considered private pay.

We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

We understand that therapy is an investment. Please contact us to discuss your financial situation, and we’ll work together to find a solution that makes therapy accessible for you.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. We understand emergencies happen and will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
